Competitive Figure Skating

Skate Oakville’s Competitive Singles Program, directed by world-renowned coach Bruno Marcotte, provides a high-performance training environment for skaters committed to pursuing excellence in figure skating. Bruno’s extensive career includes coaching athletes to World Championship and Olympic medals, bringing a proven track record of success and a wealth of international experience to Oakville’s competitive pathway.

Designed for athletes on the podium pathway, the program supports skaters from grassroots to international levels. With a strong focus on technical skill development, artistry, and performance, athletes receive elite coaching, sport science support, and a comprehensive training structure to help them progress through the competitive ranks. The program is tailored to ensure each skater develops the tools necessary to excel at every stage.

Entry into the Competitive Singles Program is by invitation, based on athletes achieving specific milestones at a young age. This selective process ensures that skaters with the dedication, talent, and drive to compete at the highest levels are given the opportunity to thrive in an environment built for champions. With Skate Oakville’s legacy of excellence and Bruno Marcotte’s leadership, the program offers a clear pathway for athletes aspiring to reach the top of the sport.

Skaters wishing to be considered for the program should contact the Skate Oakville office (office@skateoakville.ca)
