Coaching Experience, Skating Background and Additional Training

Skating has been a central part of my life for many years, with over 18 years of coaching experience. I competed in ice dance pairs for more than 14 years at all levels, reaching the national level and placing in the top eight at the Junior Canadian Dance Championships. I coach skaters of all ages and levels and am actively involved in the dance pair program, specializing in ice dance and choreography while developing strong foundational skating skills, musicality, and confidence.

Coaching Philosophy

I am a school teacher by day and a skating professional by night, bringing a strong educational background into my coaching. I believe every skater learns and progresses differently and at their own pace.

I strive to create a positive, engaging environment through purposeful and interactive lessons that allow skaters to experience success. As a committed and enthusiastic coach, my goal is to foster a love of skating while encouraging each skater to reach their full potential.
