2023-24 Volunteer Program Description

For the 2023-24 season Skate Oakville has a wide variety of ways in which our members can fulfill their mandatory volunteer commitments.

Volunteering is a wonderful way to meet other members and is a fun and rewarding opportunity to give back to the club and help enhance the experiences and opportunities available for our skatersVolunteers who complete a shift will also have the chance to have their name entered in draws for credits at our pop-up shops and other prizes!

Volunteer opportunities will be listed on our website for registration as they come up in our calendar yearRegistration will be done through the Skate Oakville website and commitments will be tracked through our online systemOnce you have registered for a position, you will be contacted to confirm days, times, and all the details regarding that position.

Please reach out to Skate Oakville via volunteer@skateoakville.ca if you have a particular skill or service you feel you can offer to our club that is not captured in the volunteer options listed below.

If at the end of the year, members do not complete their required commitments they will be required to buy them out at a rate of $250 per commitment before being allowed to register for the 2024-25 season.

We thank you in advance for your time, and energy!
